Discuss your requirementsMicrosoft 365, configured for your team.
Serving New York and the tri-state area, including Long Island’s Nassau and Suffolk counties and all five New York City boroughs.
Discuss your projectMicrosoft 365 often sits at the center of a working day. Email arrives in Exchange Online, conversations happen in Teams, and important files live in SharePoint or OneDrive. When those services are configured thoughtfully, staff can find information, share it with the right people, and work from the locations your business needs.
InlineTech helps businesses set up, migrate, administer, and improve Microsoft 365. Whether you are moving from another email provider or reviewing an existing Office 365 or Microsoft 365 environment, we start with your people, applications, and business requirements. We also help make the changes understandable to the staff who will use them.
Account setup and subscription review
We review your domain, tenant, user accounts, and current subscriptions. Different roles may need different capabilities, so we compare licensing with actual work rather than assigning the same plan to everyone. The scope can include shared mailboxes, groups, administrator access, and the configuration needed for business email. Features, usage limits, and security capabilities depend on the licenses selected.
Email and file migration
A migration needs an inventory of mailboxes, shared addresses, calendars, files, and the applications that rely on them. We assess the source environment, plan domain and mail routing changes, and agree on a transition schedule. Where practical, representative accounts are tested before the wider move. Validation covers mail flow, sign in, access to transferred information, and the steps staff need to take on their devices. We explain the expected interruption and any source limitations before the migration begins.
Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
We help organize shared work so staff know where documents belong and how access is granted. That can include Teams channels, SharePoint sites, document libraries, and OneDrive usage guidance. External sharing, guest access, and permissions are reviewed around the information involved. We also help teams understand the difference between a personal work file and a document that belongs to a shared business process.
Identity, security, and administration
The review can cover multifactor authentication, administrator roles, account recovery, mail protection, and relevant identity or device controls. Available features depend on the subscription and environment. We document who can approve access, manage accounts, and respond to an issue. Onboarding and departures are planned so access changes and business records are handled consistently.
Support, training, and recovery planning
We show staff how to use the functions that matter to their roles and provide administrators with useful configuration records. Ongoing support can include account administration, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and reviews of changing requirements. Microsoft retention features, synchronization, and independent backup serve different purposes. We help assess the recovery requirements for your business and discuss suitable protection instead of assuming that a cloud subscription covers every loss scenario.
From the first question
to the final detail.
We agree on the scope, responsibilities, and success criteria together. Your project can include:
Tenant and license review
Mail and collaboration migration
Security configuration and team training
Part of a connected plan.
A single improvement can make a real difference. We also consider how it fits with your existing technology and the way your team works.
Useful answers
before you begin.
Can you move us from Google Workspace or another email provider?
We can assess the source accounts, available export or migration tools, calendars, files, and domain configuration. The migration scope and limitations are agreed before changes are made.
Can you support Microsoft 365 without changing our subscriptions?
Often, yes. We can review an existing environment and improve its configuration or administration. A license change is recommended only where the required capability or business need justifies it.
Do we need Microsoft 365 Business Premium?
That depends on your requirements and eligibility. We compare relevant plans with the applications, security controls, and device management capabilities your team needs. We do not assume a particular plan suits every business.
Can you help after the migration is finished?
Yes. We can discuss ongoing support, account administration, staff training, and periodic reviews. Coverage, responsibilities, and response expectations are defined in your service agreement.
